the wheels are in motion...
this morning i did something i have never done before. i purchased airline tickets out of the states. i'm heading to guatemala on xmas day and returning on 01feb07. now i planned on leaving a bit earlier to miss the craziness of the holidays, but due to airfare pricing, my plans changed somewhat. however, i will be traveling central america for 6 weeks instead of the originally planned 4 week trip. i cannot begin to explain the excitement i am feeling right now and i don't see this feeling vanquishing anytime.
on a side note i've been spinning the self-titled broken social scene non-stop. let me tell you this, this disc is absolutely amazing. it came out 2005 and has taken me a year to find it. i've had it the entire time, just haven't gotten in to until now. so here's a hint...don't waste anymore time, spin, spin and spin alot. check out the bands website here to see some videos and spin some tracks. lyrics are here.
